Mike grew up in a model family in tiny Williamsport Maryland, a mountain town on the Potomac River right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The family enjoyed the great outdoors together, camping a lot in perennial rain. Mike, a born problem-solver, simply built a moat around their tent. At Williamsport High School, intellect and popularity won him the student council presidency for two consecutive years. He earned a Bachelor's degree from The American University in Washington D.C., studying economics, communications, legal institutions and government. After graduation he worked for several powerful D.C. lobbyists, but when one company discovered his genius with computers they immediately put him in charge of web development, launching his permanent career.
Mike has been doing programming and web development for fifteen years. He arrived in Florida for the first time to attend a football game. It happened to be January. A year later, during an especially brutal D.C. winter, he headed south to the Florida sunshine. Prior to accepting a full-time position with Luxury Yacht Group, Mike worked as a freelance consultant to an international clientele. His expertise, passion for innovation and personal attention to clients established his sterling reputation industry wide.
Mike is a dedicated programmer. He says, "You just keep getting better when you're really into your craft, you conquer all obstacles. The reason I accepted the position with LuxYachts is because what we are doing is new, really cutting edge programming, and that's huge. I've watched the company evolve over the years from a few file cabinets to a team of extraordinarily skilled people, and it's inspiring to be a part of that success." Mike is married and the proud father of a beautiful daughter. He is also proud of the hole-in-one he scored on 06-06-06.
